Faro Edge 9 Foot Arm
Multipurpose and accurate portable measurement system that allows easy verification of the product quality by performing inspections, tool certifications, CAD-to-part analysis, and reverse engineering. With a volumetric accuracy of 0.035mm (0.0014”) and repeatability of 0.029mm (0.0011”), it is the ideal tool that eliminates the needs constrained by the limitations of the fixed CMMs and other measurement systems.

The combination of Faro Edge and the new FARO Laser Line Probe adds unparalleled non-contact measurement capabilities for our customer’s needs. With a wider laser stripe, it significantly increases scan coverage without sacrificing accuracy while providing exceptional speed and feature definition.
Considering the accuracy of 0.035mm (0.0014”), the repeatability of 0.035mm (0.0014”) and the scan rate of 752 points/line (with 60 frames/second), the Laser Line Probe delivers the best performance at the lowest price for any needs such as Cad-to-part inspections and reverse engineering of parts and tools.
Laser Scanner
Efficient, precise, and fast service. Creates a precise, virtual copy of reality; accurate, and at a speed of up to 1 million points per second with a resolution of 70 mega pixels. The Focus3D produces incredibly detailed 3D images of complex environments and geometries in only a few minutes. This portable device measures large 3D point clouds in minutes. When set at its lowest resolution, the scanner can measure 8 million points in 58 seconds. The point data collected can be used for: comparing to CAD design, reverse engineering, simulations, retrieving dimensions or data collection, collision risk assessment, and forensics’ applications.
